“The Art of Effective Communication”: workshop

The Center for Psychological Counseling and Career Guidance of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemițanu" invites the members of the University community to take part at an interactive workshop with the theme “The Art of Effective Communication”.

The effective communication is one of the essential skills for professional and personal development, especially in an academic and medical environment, where cooperation, responsibility and interpersonal relationships play an important role. In many situations, communication difficulties arise from the way we convey the message: too direct, too defensive or, on the contrary, avoiding saying what we think.

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
- understand the principles of active communication and the difference between passive, aggressive and assertive communication styles;
- analyze examples from academic and professional life;
- practice practical ways to express opinions, needs and limits in a clear and respectful way.

The workshop is offered for students, residents and all those interested in developing their communication skills in the University environment.
The activity will take place on March 26, 2026, at 16:20, in the central building of the University, bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt, 165, bir. 406/b.
